Canine Influenza is now in Maricopa County

A recent diagnosis of Canine Influenza in Maricopa County, our hospital is getting a lot of calls from concerned pet owners. We want to provide you with up-to-date and accurate information on this infectious disease. Below are links to a couple of credible websites that have the latest information on the two strains of canine flu H3N2 and H3N8. We do offer vaccines to prevent or minimize the impact of this highly infectious disease in our family’s pets.


The vaccine protocol is to initially receive 2 vaccines with a three week interval between. The vaccine is boosted once a year. The vaccine we use offers protection against both strains of Canine Influenza. Please call for more information or to set an appointment to have your pet vaccinated.
