Melinda - Practice Manager
Team member since 1996
I'm a California native. I moved to Arizona and started working at Oasis Animal Hospital in December of 1996. I have a beautiful daughter who is an animal lover like me. I have 3 dachshunds and 2 cats that run my household. In my spare time, I love pet sitting and traveling. Animals have always been my passion and I feel blessed to be able to give back to them on a daily basis.
Cassie - Operations Manager

I'm originally from Salinas, CA. I live in Gilbert with my partner, Danny. We have one dog (a Chihuahua mix named Guppie) and one cat (a Bengal named Frank). I love all the small breed dogs! I've been in the veterinary field for almost 20 years; I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I love advocating for my patients and client education. When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, craft cocktails/beers, and I love a good coffee shop.

I was born in California, but was raised in Arizona. I have been in the veterinary field since 2014 with general practice being my main field of interest. I like the typical AZ outdoor activities but also enjoy staying in to binge watch tv shows. I currently have one bossy Tortoiseshell named Brenda but the risk of getting another pet runs high here!

I was born into a family of animal lovers, therefore I always knew I would want to work with animals. I have interests in Dermatology and Neurology. I love that everyday in veterinary medicine is making a difference in a pet and their family's lives.

I am an Arizona native who grew up on a small farm surrounded by horses, cattle, chickens, and dogs, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. I share my home with two dogs: Aspen, my nearly 12-year-old Alaskan Husky mix, and Artemis (“Arti”), my 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler).
I graduated from MCC and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2024. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, hiking, crafting, and spending time with friends.
I believe every pet deserves the same level of care and compassion that I would want for my own animals. I am dedicated to providing exceptional patient and client care, and I take pride in creating a calm, reassuring environment for every patient—especially those who are anxious or fearful. Through patience, gentle handling, and compassion, I strive to build trust and make each visit as positive and stress-free as possible.

My passion in working with animals has grown since I was a kid. Working in Veterinary Medicine gives me a purpose to help pets and advocate for them. Currently, I'm a mom to my three cats: Jax, Abel, and Arya; as well as to my son Mateo.

I was an Animal Planet kid growing up. My favorite animals are owls, foxes, and tigers. Ever since I was a kid, I've always had a dog in my house. I currently have four at home! My passion for my job comes from the heart and I try to put everything into what I do. In my spare time, I'm usually writing personal projects, even having self published three books.

I started veterinary medicine after I moved to Arizona from California in 2017 thanks to my now husband (a former CVT). I worked in emergency and general practice in Oregon, but moved back to the desert in 2022. When I'm not outdoors, I'm at home with my dog Emma, my two cats Mango & Peach, and a 55 gallon fish tank.

Originally from Colorado, I share my home with my dog, Alpine. My lifelong passion for animals inspired me to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician, allowing me to combine my love for animal care with meaningful, hands-on work. I take pride in building trusting relationships with both pets and their owners, and I strive to make every veterinary visit as comfortable, compassionate, and stress-free as possible. My goal is to provide exceptional care while supporting the health and well-being of every patient entrusted to me.

I was born at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson and spent much of my childhood moving around before settling back in Arizona in 2009. I've always loved animals, which led me to volunteer with rescues and foster animals before beginning my career in veterinary medicine in 2011.
I enjoy meeting new patients and clients, as well as caring for our longtime patients. One of my favorite areas of veterinary medicine is assisting with dental procedures.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy PC and Xbox gaming, camping, reading, attending craft beer festivals, and spending time with my family, friends, and fur babies. My husband and I have four children ranging in age from 5 to 16, two dogs named Gunner and Daisy, and four cats named Jack, Harvey, Bruce, and Ivy.
Whether I'm helping with a dental procedure or welcoming a new patient, I'm grateful to be part of a team that cares so deeply for pets and the people who love them. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and helping make every visit to Oasis a positive experience.

Ever since I was young, I've always wanted to work with animals. My mother works in human medicine which inspired me to look into the medical field myself. I currently have a ball python named William Snakespeare (no, that is not a typo) and have had several dogs over the years. They inspire me every day to come in and try to give all our furry friends a voice for themselves.

Today I share my home with six dogs and three cats, each with their own unique personality. My deep love for animals has inspired me to pursue further education in veterinary medicine where I hope to turn my passion into a lifelong career.

Since I was little, I’ve always dreamt of helping animals in need. That passion has stayed with me and drives my future goals. I hope to return to school to become a certified surgical technician, so I can play a hands-on role in improving the lives of animals through medical care. At home, I share my life with four beloved fur babies who constantly remind me why this path is so important to me.
